Well, I got my video editing software/ card working so I can now mix video and pictures with a tasty groove. (Or something like that... I have been banned from using slang so any attempt is a failed one)

And with the addition of the digital camera I am getting my hands on. (Nikon Coolpix 2500 (Have I mentioned I love the internet?)) (check out the VERY nicely designed coolpix website. 5 megapixel WOULD have been fun, but we're looking at base camera price plus 100 dollars per megapixel. Soooo, while I wanted a digital camera, I didn't see the need for something that powerful. (Ok... I can find plenty of uses for it, it's the money ok, I confess...)
