I don't know if I should confess this or not, but my brother introduced me to a band the other day, and I have to admit I have enjoyed everything I have heard from them. Nickel Creek sounds like Caedmon's call, only more musically focused. Or as my brother put it, more like a modern "O Brother where art thou" sound track. Now I was hesitant to say that I like this because I am thinking that if you listen you might think this sounds like country. I want to put my foot down now and say that is ISN'T country (I think you all know how I feel about that (Quiet Ryan)) it's Folk music. Folk and country are NOT the same! (really!)
