I'd feel great if it wasn't for this cancer...

When I was at Overlake I was asked how I was aside from everything going on and I responded, "I'd feel great if it wasn't for this cancer!" The doctor asking the question thought that was pretty funny. However it's true. The only reason I feel horrible these past few days has been chemo. Killing cells in an attempt to make me feel better in the long run.

Speaking of which tomorrow afternoon I have a CT scan. This will be the first scan since chemo started and they'll be able to take a good look at the tumors to see what's going on inside my body. Which makes my Doctor's appointment on Tuesday kind of nerve wracking because I'll hear what the chemo has been doing. Please pray for me.

The island was a good time with Lisa. We went to the drive in movie theatre (triple feature for 6 bucks!), slept, read, walked around Coupville, and went out to dinner. Just some good time with my wife.

In tongue news I am back to eating solid foods. (Still a small pain at the back of my tongue, but small enough to ignore) Thank you all for your prayers as my tongue healed.

Two weeks until my brother's wedding. And almost 2 years since Lisa and I got married. Hopefully we won't be celebrating that in the hospital.

Thanks again for all your prayers and support!
