Work smarter, not harder

I put in 3.5 hours today at Taproot ironing out some troubles they have been having with their computers/ network/ phone system. It was good to get back in the "IT Saddle" as it were. Granted I am going to do some catch-up when I get back there (next year sometime?) but I think there will be plenty to keep me busy when I get around to working there full-time again.

This past week as well I got Lisa's desktop computer up and running again. (It was a work related fiasco that rendered the computer 100% useless) So we are once again a 3 computer family. (4 if you count the Xbox 360 I guess) It's been nice to be able to get back to fixing computer things again, working the muscles I haven't worked in a while.

Got my blood work back this afternoon as well and my platelets aren't really as high as they need to be to start chemo (at 44, need to be at 75) so I'm not sure if I'll be starting chemo on Monday or not. I'll be seeing the doctor tomorrow so I hope we can get some solid answers before the weekend. (Probably "get blood drawn on Monday and we'll see where we're at")

Thanks again for all the prayers and support. Work has tired me out and we're having our small group over tonight, so I am going to take a nap before I have to man the BBQ.
