Are you out of nausea?

True life question from the nurse :)

From what I heard, nausea was the milestone of the day for Ben. My mom says that the second day after surgery is the hardest, and I'm hoping that will be the case for him-- that it will be all improvement from here. His incision, at least, is beginning to heal.

Last night I cooked until 11:30pm. It's difficult to go straight to bed after coming home from the hospital.

    Hmmm...I am out of nausea. And I meant to pick some up on the way home from the hospital last night! (Sorry, humor seems to help get us Morrells through...)

    I just got back from seeing Ben. He is doing a LOT better today. He actually got out of bed and walked down the hall (with the help of a PT). He had some broth and Italian ice and has been drinking juice. He gets tried and took a nap after all of that.

    Thanks for all of the prayers. I am sure he will be home soon.
