slow sunday

I hardly got any sleep last night. I wish it were as simple as "insomnia" but sadly it wasn't. My face was hurting again and nothing I did seemed to be able to kick the pain. I debated going to the ER for meds, but came to the conclusion that I wouldn't have been able to make it to church if I had gone to the ER. So when Lisa and I came home we had lunch and I proceeded to fall asleep. However upon waking my face didn't feel any better than when I had fallen asleep.

I could really use some prayer for finding a solution to this pain as well as what causes it.

Thanks everyone for the support.

  1. I am so sorry you are going through this and hope that you have contacted your doctor for relief. You might want to ask him about having an MRI or CT done for the head and neck or even a full body scan, if you havn't already. Perhaps there is some treatment they could offer while you wait for surgery. ;-)

Stay strong. We so understand what you are going through, both physically and emotionally and wish you well with your upcoming surgery. My son has had three major surgeries and came through them all very well. He bounced right back each time within a few weeks. He is currently asymptomatic and living with cancer.

Best to you and your family,
