Lisa and I celebrated our 6 month anniversary last night! I have to admit that we had a lot of fun. First thing we did was to go to the UW and rent a canoe and go paddling around lake Washington and the area around the freeway. It's really surprisingly pretty for being around and under a freeway. We say lots of brave ducks, some interesting plants, a couple herons and a bald eagle.
After that we went to Benihana's for dinner, which is right across the street from where Lisa's dad works. Dinner was fun to watch them make (they make it right there on your table) and to eat as well. (My claim to fame for the night was eating the whole meal with chopsticks. Oh yeah!)
Following dinner we went over to Safeco field where we took in a Mariners game. The cool part was that Lisa's dad didn't have need to the tickets he had for that night so we got some good seats. (read: along the 1st baseline, 1st row, the end of our row was the Mariners dugout.) We saw Ryan as he helped with the mobile camera and he got us up on the diamond vision! We renacted this with a picture.
Anyway, it was a good time, we both had fun and we look forward to more anniversaries!
