And that ends, as Lisa has referred to it, "A Crazy Month!" Starting out with vacation (with all the siblings), chemo, my dad coming into town, packing, moving, Lisa's parent's coming into town, unpacking, AND the end of the month. We've managed to see all but 1 of our immediate family THIS MONTH... which is crazy. We haven't done something like that since we lived in Seattle.
Needless to say the new apartment seems quieter, and a lot larger when it's just the two of us. Almost seems like someone could live here.
We're hoping or a relatively "quiet" month of November. Mainly because we are already making plans for December to be anything but quiet or slow. (Seattle anyone?)
I've got a doctor's appointment on Wednesday, and odds are good they will start on the platelet stuff, but until then I will enjoy the half of this week I have. We're also going to try the "Drop Ben off at the hospital" thing and see how well that works. Being as we're so close Lisa will just run over and pick me up when I'm done waiting to see the doctor. (Anyone want to place bets now? 30 minutes? An hour? Two? Three? Do I hear three and a half?)
Oh, I got a Houston Public Library card today... I didn't even get a library card in Colorado. I'm not entirely sure what that means. Maybe it doesn't mean anything.
Thanks for all the prayers and support. Thanks to all the family who made this last month so wonderful (both being here and allowing other's to be here!), thanks to all the friends who helped us move, and thank you for all the friends who prayed for us this past month for everything. You are all a huge blessing.

Thanks for the nod at the end. I've come to the end of October feeling rather left out. Glad you're settled in, though.
ReplyDeletemy sister loves the library down there!
