I subscribe to a "poem of the day" in my email box. Generally there is nothing to write home about. But occationally (IE: Today) I'll find a winner and want to read everything the guy has ever done.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you A.E. Housman. The poem that captured my attention was:XIV.
The bio at the end of the poem today said he was, "was an English scholar and poet whose work is noted for its Romantic pessimism."
Enjoy.
