This morning I was reading my bible and God directed me to Psalm 40. I felt like that Psalm has nailed how I feel on the head. David had quite a way with words. (Amazing that something written almost 3000 years ago can have such an blessed effect on my life today!) I wanted to share with you that Psalm 40 was how I am feeling. And no matter what that God's glory will shine through no matter what.

Hi Ben
ReplyDeleteMarianne Savell here (Karen Lund's friend from LA). There are alot of people in LA praying for you. Here is what one of my friends (Kelly) had to say:
Please let Ben know I am praying. God is more powerful than any diagnosis. He has the power to heal. I have seen him do miracles in my own life, and I know he is the same God yesterday, today and tomorrow.
A song I learned in Sunday School when I was a little girl is the song that came into my mind just before I went under anesthesia for my major surgery last year:
"My God is so great, so strong and so mighty. There's nothing my God cannot do!"
You're in my prayers and in God's hands.
Your sister in Christ
Marianne
When it comes to songs learned as a child:
ReplyDeleteGod will make a way when there seems to be way. He works in ways we cannot see, he will make a way for me. He will be my guide hold me closely to his side. With love and strength for each new day, He will make a way!
To all of you out there reading Ben's blog and praying for him, I just can't tell you how much this touches my heart. What a gift you are from the Lord. Thank you all so very much. May my God pour out His blessing on each of you!
