I am cutting my vacation down here in Southern California short and I am coming home this evening. The shingles is possibly the most painful thing that I have experienced to date. (It's like someone is trying to insert IV's all over the right side of my body and then suddenly charging it with electricity.)
The shingles look horrible, and I am a little worried that with my weakened immune system something more might happen so I am going home tonight. I should be back in Seattle this evening. (Saturday)
PLEASE continue to pray for me as I go through this, it is amazingly painful. Also please pray for Lisa as she and her sister drive up from Southern California together over the next couple of days.

Ben! I am SO sorry to hear that and we will DEFINITELY miss you tomorrow for our Dim Sum lunch but do try to get plenty of rest. I know, as a previous shingles recipient, it's not fun and sleeping with pain is an impossibility, but remember "this too shall pass".
