Whole wheat biscuts from scratch this morning for Lisa! (They were far tastier than I thought they would be.)
I promised Lisa last night I would make her breakfast, and I kind as assumed we had Bisquik so that making biscuits wouldn't be too much work. However we didn't have any bisquik. So I hit up AllRecipes.com for a biscuit recipe.
I modified that link. Did all wheat instead of half all purpose, and did soy milk instead of "normal" milk. (As we don't have "normal" milk.) They turned out pretty good! Crispy on the outside, soft and dense in the inside. Add honey and bingo.
Good stuff.
